Parrhesia Fermentery — Mission
The universe is the answer, all we have to do is find its questions.

Parrhesia
[ παρρησία ]
The term Parrhesia describes the act of free and truthful expression, even when it carries risk.
Depart
In order to explore, untangle and create meaningfully, we must first allow thoughts, observations and ideas to be articulated freely, without the burden of convention.
Applying Parrhesia exposes the confines of popular or 'safe' assumptions, and invites us to ask questions beyond the dominion of general acceptance.
But it also means accepting responsibility for where the answers take us.
Parrhesia challenges us to depart from comforting narratives and enter the universe of possibilities that is richer than convention allows us to imagine.
Return
But convention has purpose.
To exchange, establish and collaborate meaningfully, we eventually have to return to our shared reality — the dimension of experience where culture, tradition and economics give shape to our life in society.
The purpose of departing from convention is not to discard it, but to return to it with a richer understanding — enabling us to bring our shared reality closer to a shared experience of truth.
Re-spect
Sometimes that means proposing something entirely unfamiliar. More often, it means looking again — re-spect — at what already exists:
a relation, an experience, a process, a product, an ingredient, a material.
Expand
To improve it, extend its function, reconsider its role, imagine its possible future. Unrestricted, from all conceivable angles, in all conceivable directions.
Exciting, but daunting.
Leaps where accepted, baby steps where required.
Parrhesia, because nothing is one thing.
