How it works

Our Parrhesian ginger is both a food and a potent, predictable starter for your own lacto-ferments.

We can guarantee its genuinely living quality because we do not produce in advance but on pre-orders, which initiate our fermentation process. This means we cannot guarantee an exact delivery day. Give us that space, and in return you receive a fresh, living food — ready to enrich and ferment with.

At around one generous teaspoon a day, one jar lasts a month, with approximately 5 billion living lactobacilli in every spoonful.

About our ginger

Ginger has been a popular exotic food for thousands of years, and that's not likely to change anytime soon. A staple that travels that far can earn more of its journey — keep longer, do more.

We ferment our ginger lean and fast. The process looks simple for what it achieves: no complicated industrial processing, no unnecessary ingredients. All it requires is precision, and our devotion to creating the best possible conditions — balance, attention, environment — that let Lactiplantibacillus plantarum* do the impressive work.

If we deliver, they deliver.

*Formerly Lactobacillus plantarum.
